At Fuorisalone with the lab

A few weeks ago, we took a lab outing to Fuorisalone, the network of exhibitions, openings and installations that animates Milan alongside Salone del Mobile during Milan Design Week.
It was a great reminder of how inspiring it is to live and do science in Milan. During this week, contemporary art and design appear everywhere across the city, turning even a city walk into an encounter with new ideas.
For us, the day was also a chance to step away from the bench, explore the city together and enjoy the creative energy that makes Milan such an exciting place to work. Science thrives on curiosity, dialogue and new ways of seeing, and it is hard not to feel energized when a whole city becomes a space for ideas.
